Jeremy Beussink
Head Coach
Jeremy discovered CrossFit in 2010 at the gym on Carlisle Barracks where he still currently works with international officers at the U.S. Army War College. His experiences instructing in academia as well as for the U.S. government over the last 10 years also help him as a coach at Two Roads. His background in competitive sports and outdoor activities lends itself well to the challenges of CrossFit. What he enjoys most about Two Roads is the community, striving to be healthy (with nutrition motivation from his wife and fellow coach, Lera), and expressing his fitness in everyday life through activities like mountain biking and trail running with their Siberian Husky, Volk.

Jamie Schatte
Coach
December of 2013 marked the beginning of Jamie's CrossFit journey. Growing up she was a swimmer all through high school and in college she found passion in coaching (swimming) for middle school and high school athletes while living in Seoul, Korea. In 2009, she relocated to Carlisle, Pa with her two girls and has come to love the community in which they are a part of. Community and the sheer determination to live a healthier life is what has made her thoroughly enjoy all that CrossFit has to offer. Being a part of Two Roads gives her the chance to share the love and determination she has with an amazing community.
By day, Jamie works as a BSA Officer (anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing compliance) for a local community bank. By night, and weekends, you can find her at Two Roads CrossFit!

Lera Beussink
Coach
Lera started crossFit in October 2012. CrossFit did not just make her a better athlete, but also gave her confidence in herself and made her realize she is capable of much more than she has ever imagined. Her favorite aspect of CrossFit is community and she is passionate about helping people bring fitness and healthy eating into their lives. She continually reads and experiments with nutrition and is happy to chat about it.
Lera was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine and, while not CrossFitting, she works in marketing in Carlisle, PA and enjoys spending time with her husband Jeremy and their Siberian Husky, Volk.
