This is the day! The day to give CrossFit a try at Two Roads. Join us for a beginner friendly FREE workout and get to know our community and how we do CrossFit.

Who is invited? -- Everyone! CrossFit experience or not, all are invited.

I’m not sure if I can do a CrossFit workout -- Not to worry! As always at Two Roads, there will be scaling for all the movements, for all fitness levels and ages. Our knowledgable coaches will take you through everything you need to know.

Are you busy… bored with the same routine, can’t get enough exercise on your own, eager to lose weight, inches, gain strength and endurance, or do you just want to lift the groceries or your kids with ease? Then this program is for you!

WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN?

- All levels of fitness are welcome. No matter who you are, you can get fitter! Anyone with a desire to learn, grow and work hard can see results.


- Class training & accountability. We work out in small groups & you have more people holding you accountable and more people counting on you to show up. Even when you’re having a low day, group energy can provide the pick-me-up you need to get motivated.


- Our workouts are never the same! No time to get bored.


- Community. Our newer members comment on how friendly everyone at Two Roads CrossFit is. Our members remember that beginning CrossFit can be intimidating; they are always there to help cheer, motivate, and lend some advice.

This program includes 6 sessions where we teach the foundational movements of functional fitness, nutrition, goal setting and how to incorporate healthy behaviors into everyday life.

Class is limited to only 8 spots! We will start on Aug 23rd and run till Sep 9th with 2 sessions per week:

Engine Tune Up - Aerobic Conditioning Class

Two Roads CrossFit in Carlisle, PA is hosting a 6-week running and aerobic conditioning class starting on July 21st. You will have a chance to learn and perfect running technique, improve your run times and overall cardiovascular conditioning.

What to expect?

All classes will be coach-led with the overall goal of improving endurance and cardiovascular fitness.
Classes will cover the following:
•Running techniques with drills
•Interval and long distance runs
•Rowing or other aerobic based conditioning
•Plyometric exercises

Who is the class for?

• Runners or aspiring runners looking to improve form, pace and times
• Individuals looking to boost performance in max effort fitness tests (for example the new Army Combat Fitness Test-ACFT)
• CrossFit athletes looking to improve their aerobic fitness and running ability
• Anyone wanting to get in better shape

You don't have to be in running or CrossFit shape to do it! We'll do some testing in the first session and use your run times in the following sessions for specific pacing to achieve desired goal times for the mile and 5k.

Dates: we will start on Tuesday, 7/21 and run till Saturday, 8/29 meeting at:
- 7pm on Tuesdays
- 10:30am on Saturdays

$45 for Two Roads CrossFit members
$65 for non-members

Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism Workshop

"Pregnancy is simply not the time to push it in the gym and postpartum is not the time to rush back into intense exercise". We couldn't agree more with Brianna Battles, founder of Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism online movement.

We either hear a lot about the things you CAN'T do while pregnant or right after baby comes OR we are being told to "listen to our bodies". But there is a happy medium and many variables we can control during these chapters to prolong our athleticism.

This 90-minute session will include a talk about athlete mindset, scaling back & adjusting exercise strategies and then gradually reintroducing movement and intensity, as well as movement demo and a short workout.

Everyone is welcome and you don't have to be pregnant or postpartum to attend. Non-members are welcome.

If you are a member of Two Roads, please make sure you sign up for this class in Wodify. If you are not a member, please sign up online for a drop-in prior to attending.

Two Roads CrossFit in Carlisle, PA is turning 3 years this Fall! Our community would not have been possible without each other and we would love to celebrate with you all!

In honor of our 3rd year Anniversary, we are hosting our annual Two Roads CrossFit Competition followed by a potluck party on Saturday, September 21.

Non-members are welcome to participate as in the prior years. Spectators are also welcome!

Workouts will be announced prior to the competition. RSVP on our Facebook page to receive regular updates.

Our 3rd Anniversary Competition will include RX'd and Scaled Divisions. Division standards are as follows:

What is Murph?
"Murph" is a classic CrossFit workout known as a Hero WOD. Hero WOD's are made by CrossFit to honor the men and women that have fallen in service to their country. This one is specifically to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2005. I'm not sure I can do this, can I still attend?
Absolutely! We welcome everyone and, as always at Two Roads, there will be multiple options to scale/modify the workout OR do it in teams of 2 or 3! Our coaches will help you change the workout to accommodate your fitness level.

We will celebrate with food, drinks & games immediately following the workout. Friends, family and guests or anyone interested are welcome!

The Rub: 5-Week Running Club at Two Roads CrossFit (Carlisle, PA)

Join our 5-week running and aerobic capacity program at Two Roads CrossFit in Carlisle, PA to learn and perfect running technique, improve your run times and overall cardiovascular conditioning.

We call it The Rub cause it’s the important stuff necessary to build endurance and aerobic fitness.

What to expect? All classes will be coach-led and cover running technique with drills, interval runs or longer runs (typically not longer than 1-2 miles), and rowing or other aerobic based and plyometric exercises with the overall goals of increasing endurance & cardiovascular fitness.

Who’s the class for:
• Runners or aspiring runners looking to improve form, pace and times
• Individuals looking to boost performance in max effort fitness tests (for example the new Army Combat Fitness Test-ACFT)
• CrossFit athletes looking to improve their aerobic fitness and running ability

Save the date for all things gymnasty! Are you just "doing" the gymnastics movements or are you also practicing them?

Two Roads CrossFit in Carlisle, PA is bringing a 3-hour gymnastics skills seminar on December 8, 10:30am open to members & non-members. 

We will meet you where you are & cover various progressions for T2B, pull-ups, handstand push-ups and muscle-ups. We will deload the movements to where you can hit the rep ranges you need to get the adaptation that you're after! You will leave with a set of new progressions you can train on your own to achieve appropriate bodyweight strength and practice technique.

To help you navigate the holidays and maintain your hard-earned results, Two Roads CrossFit is hosting a Holiday Survival Nutrition Challenge running from Monday, November 12th till Sunday, December 16th. 

Prioritizing nutrition during the holidays is challenging, and we will use this opportunity to get some good habits going while the holidays roll around. This challenge will be a “scaled” version of our typical nutrition challenges and geared specifically towards helping you stay on track during the holidays. Back by popular demand! Bring Your Hookgrip class is back at Two Roads CrossFit in Carlisle, PA, this time for 4 weeks

This class will cover the fundamentals of Olympic Weightlifting movements technique and positioning. 

Open to athletes of all ability. It's a perfect opportunity to spend time practicing the most technically challenging movements in CrossFit: snatch and clean & jerk.

Regardless of experience, this is a great opportunity to enhance your Weightlifting prowess within the sport of CrossFit.

What's the schedule?
We'll have 2 classes per week starting on Oct. 16:

Two Roads CrossFit is turning 2 years this Fall! Our community would not have been possible without each and everyone of our members and we would love to celebrate with you all!

In honor of our 2nd year Anniversary, we are hosting 2nd Annual Two Roads Competition followed by a big party on Saturday, October 13. This event is open to non-members. Deadline to register is October 11.

The Anniversary Competition will include RX'd and Scaled Divisions. Division standards are as follows:

Who is the class for?
- CrossFit athletes who would like to improve their aerobic fitness 
- Anyone preparing for a max effort fitness test 
- Anyone looking to improve their capacity for endurance workouts, whether CrossFit or not

What is Murph?
"Murph" is a classic CrossFit workout known as a Hero WOD. Hero WOD's are made by CrossFit to honor the men and women that have fallen in service to their country. This one is specifically to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2005. At Two Roads CrossFit, we are intentional about scalability in order to accommodate all fitness levels and your personal goals. At Two Roads, you find people that are pushing it weekly to achieve a personal goal, as well as people who are working on trying to get off of the couch and shed some pounds. We are all athletes. Our trained coaches scale every movement and every workout to individual fitness levels.

We are turning 1 year old and need your help celebrating! Two Roads CrossFit is hosting a competition on October 21st followed by a potluck party. 

This year's competition will include RX'd and Scaled Divisions with 3 WODs and a Championship WOD for both Divisions. Check-in for athletes begins at 1pm. The athlete meeting to go over standards and judging will start at 1:30pm with the first WOD starting promptly at 2pm.

Athletes are required to register online. Deadline for athlete registration is October 16, 2017. Cost is:

  • $28.00 for Two Roads CrossFit members 
  • $38.00 for Non-members 

Cost will not reflect on initial registration page however, the cost above applies.
